DAVE LEPOIDEVIN – Coach and Founder

Known as “Coach Lep,” Dave has been coaching football for over 12 years.  Dave has spent his coaching career working with defensive backs, wide receivers and quarterbacks and has successfully trained and guided multiple student athletes to all conference, all area and all state status’.

Over Dave’s coaching career he has assisted in the coordination of defenses that had participated in 4 state championships, from 2006 – 2009, winning in 2006.  In 2007 Dave’s defensive backs were ranked #2 in the state of New Jersey as voted by the NJ Football Magazine.

Dave has had the pleasure of coaching student athletes from all over the United States.  Some of Dave’s former players have or are playing at the highest levels…  Theo Riddick – U. of Notre Dame/Detroit Lions, John Mack – Southern U., Tashawn Bowers – Louisiana State U., Anthony Cioffi – Rutgers U., DaMario Jones – U. of Michigan, Shayne Jones – Villanova U., Trevor Socarras – Lehigh University, Mike Kuhn – U. of Maine, Derek Beck – Bethune Cookman University, Jameer Outsey – Iowa U., Jason Arrington – Assumption College, Frank DeNick Jr. – Bucknell U., Tyler Scott – East Stroudsburg, U., Terry Popa – Shippensburg U…  Just to name a few.  Coach Lep has had the honor of being the position coach to hundreds of student athletes that have or are currently playing at all levels of competition.

As a student athlete Coach Lep enjoyed a successful high school career in both football and baseball.  He was recognized as an all county, all conference, all area and all state student athlete.  Dave was invited to attend the Student-Athlete Seminar held by Senator Bill Bradley as a student athlete in 1988 and then later as a participating panelist in 1990.  The seminars recognized and honored college bound student athletes from New Jersey.  Coach Lep went on to participate in two sports at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  After a career ending football injury he continued to participate in baseball where he was recognized as the Rookie of the Year in 1988 for his efforts.

Dave has personally assisted thousands of student athletes over the years as they prepared for their high school or college careers.  Dave has surrounded himself with a talented team of highly credentialed coaches as well as former professional athletes and academic advisers that help his student athletes achieve their goals and realize their dreams.  Coach Lep is as passionate as they come about coaching and he has dedicated himself to helping student athletes of all ages.

Below is a letter written to Coach Lep from a former student athlete:

“I am a former student and member of the football team at Immaculata H.S. where Dave coached me for three seasons, including a 23-game winning streak and a state title.  I  was fortunate enough to earn a football scholarship to the University of Maine upon graduating in 2008 and am currently in my final semester as an MBA candidate.  I remain in close contact with “Coach Lep” as both a close friend and mentor.

My recruitment to the University of Maine (among many others) was largely successful due to Dave’s efforts.  Dave goes above and beyond his required duties as a coach to ensure that every student has an opportunity to excel both academically and athletically beyond the high school level.  With contacts from all college levels Dave has built a tremendous network of coaches and athletes alike.  On several occasions throughout my collegiate athletic career, I have been approached by various opposing coaches and players in regard to Dave’s tremendous efforts and driven attitude.

Aside from his tremendous coaching and networking credentials, what truly separates Coach Lep is the fact that he adds tremendous direction and value to so many young men’s lives.  On a personal level, I would not be who I am today without his guidance and friendship and I know plenty of other kids around the country who surely can say the same.  Not yet in my life have I been able to meet an individual as caring and hardworking as Coach Lep.

High School football coaches are a dime a dozen but Coach Lep is a role model, positive community influence, and father figure.”
